Our 10-meter (32 ft) dive boat is custom-made with a fiberglass hull, two Garmin GPS systems, a depth sounder, and twin 200hp engines. The ladder is specially designed to allow easy entry and egress from the boat, even with dive equipment on. On board, we have a large 2-cylinder with a DAN delivery system as our emergency oxygen. We also carry a VHF radio and an emergency mobile (cell) phone.

Our beloved dive platform (WRECKREATION, as it is affectionately referred to) is the newest and in our opinion, the nicest dive boat in Grenada! This 31 foot power catamaran is custom-made for Caribbean reef and wreck diving. Wreckreation boasts ample equipment storage, incredible stability, and very comfortable guest seating; being mounted with twin Yamaha 200hp engines, this platform will carry you to the majority of Grenada’s 40+ dive sites within 15 minutes or less! Standard on board you will find two of the finest crafted dive ladders in the Caribbean, making exit’s from the water easy for divers of all ages and experience levels. Additionally, Wreckreation comes fully stocked with an extra large 02 cylinder attached to a DAN delivery system as our emergency oxygen kit, top of the line Garmen GPS and depth sounding equipment keep us right on the mark, and our long range VHF radio or emergency mobile phone always ensure our well trained crew is prepared for any situation. Often described as “ the best view on earth ” and “ I’ve never seen anything like this ” by our guests, Dive Grenada’s home base is located on Grand Anse Beach in front of Mount Cinnamon Resort, just at the water's edge, with magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea, Grenada’s capital city of St. George’s, and towering emerald green peaks of the Grand Etang Rainforest. It is from this picturesque location all of our trips and excursions depart. On site you will find our diver friendly pool used for PADI training courses, freshwater showers as well as secure drying and storage facilities for all of your equipment. Our entire fleet of rental equipment is modern, well-maintained, and regularly serviced so you can enjoy comfortable and worry-free diving even when you are without personal gear. Our location and on-site facilities are a huge bonus for non-diving partners as well. 1. Morning 2 Tank Dive (Click to see full details)
You will need to meet us here at Dive Grenada at 8:00 am and we will get you all set up with gear and paperwork. Once our staff finishes loading the boat we will head out for our dives. Aside from a highly trained and experienced Divemaster (ours have over 40,000 combined dives right here in Grenada), we provide light refreshments on board which include cold filtered water and fresh baked cookies from our local bakery. Tanks and weights are included in the base cost, if you require additional equipment we would be happy to provide you items from our top of the line rental inventory which may be hired on a per dive basis. Your equipment will be set up and loaded onto our custom dive boat by our professional staff prior to your dives. Upon returning to the shop our divemasters will unload, disassemble, clean and store your equipment; leaving you with nothing to do but enjoy every moment of your time with us! You will need to meet us here at Dive Grenada at 8:00 am and we will get you all set up with gear and paperwork. Once our staff finishes loading the boat we will head out for our dives. Aside from a highly trained and experienced Divemaster (ours have over 40,000 combined dives right here in Grenada), we provide light refreshments on board which include cold filtered water and fresh baked cookies from our local bakery. Tanks and weights are included in the base cost, if you require additional equipment we would be happy to provide you items from our top of the line rental inventory which may be hired on a per dive basis. Snorkel Grenada’s Underwater Sculpture Park
The Marine Protected Area is home to our favourite snorkelling sites in Grenada. Our trained guides give you a full snorkel safety briefing on the dive boat before entering the water. They will also brief you on points of interest and fish species you may see whilst snorkelling. The Underwater Sculpture Park is a major snorkelling attraction in Grenada. It was the first of Jason deCaires Taylor’s underwater gardens to be created, and widely acclaimed as the first of its kind. The snorkel site is now listed as one of National Geographic’s 25 Wonders of the World. Local sculptors have added to deCaire’s original collection and the snorkel park promotes fascinating conversations about the history and culture of Grenada. The sculptures cover an underwater area of around 800 square metres and are placed in sand patches and gullies between natural rock formations. Perfect for snorkelling, they sit at depths of 5-9 metres – easy to view as you float above. Confident snorkelers can dive down for a closer look.Itinerary

What are the performance requirements for this course?
Students must complete five Adventure Dives including Deep and Underwater Navigation. Complete the five Knowledge Reviews for the completed Adventure Dives and complete Thinking Like a Diver Knowledge Development section.
How is it Different from the PADI Open Water Diver Course?
During the PADI Open Water Diver Course you learn the critical skills needed for scuba diving during your Knowledge Development, confined water dives and open water dives. During your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, you will complete 5 Adventure Dives which focuses on a particular activity or skill.
Do I Need to Take the Advanced Open Water Course?
No, the Advanced Open Water Course is not mandatory, however, it will build your skills and confidence level underwater. It’s also a fun and exciting experience!
What Should I Expect?
First of all, you should expect to have a lot of fun while completing your Advanced Open Water Course, and expect to become a more skilled and more confident diver.

Well, for each Adventure Dive, you will be required to complete a theory portion – this can be done at home via PADI eLearning or in a classroom setting. You’ll also need to complete some basic knowledge reviews to ensure you have a sound knowledge of the theory behind each dive. The Advanced Open Water course is made up of five adventure dives. The Deep Adventure Dive and the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive are compulsory and will give you some essential skills to become a more competent diver. Do I have to have my own gear?
Many new divers worry that they should have all their own gear before they even start the course. Don’t! We will supply you with everything you need. Give yourself time to learn to dive using different types of equipment, as this will help you to find out what suits you best before investing. Talk to your new dive buddies and instructors – they’ll be able to give you advice on the best entry-level equipment. Most new divers start off buying at least their own mask, fins, and computer, but it’s fine to buy these after your course! We can talk you through the options available.
How should I prepare for the Open Water course mentally AND physically?
The open water course is a lot of fun, and very rewarding! But it’s challenging too, so you should expect a little physical exertion – carrying gear in a hot climate, for example, and plenty of action in the water! You’ll also be required to complete a waterskills assessment, but don’t worry – no one’s expecting you to be an Olympic swimmer. If you’re not too sure about swimming more than 100m, or about floating in water too deep to stand up in, then perhaps think about taking a couple of swimming lessons before starting your course. This will fill you with confidence when the time comes, and will certainly help your diving skills too. Done right, diving is a safe and enjoyable activity for everyone, from children to adults. Doing a bit of research first, and thinking about what you’d like to get out of the course, will help you to make the right choices when it comes to your first ever diving experience, leaving you with great memories and a love for diving!

What is a PADI Open Water Referral Course (Tropical Referal)?
You’ll complete some or all of the two phases (knowledge development and confined water) with an open water referral before leaving home. You can finish the final part of your scuba course, the open water dives, aka ‘check out dives,’ with us! To put it another way, instead of spending 4-5 days of your holiday studying and practicing skills in a pool, you’ll arrive with the majority of your open water course done. The final portion of the course typically takes a day and a half to complete. Once certified, you can spend the rest of your time exploring and gaining additional dive experience.
What are the advantages of an open water referral?
With a PADI referral course, you can take as much time as you need to complete your knowledge development and pool work. You won’t feel rushed or like you’re ‘cramming’ for a test. You’ll also support the lovely people at your local dive shop and become a part of your local diving community.
What if I run out of time to complete all theory and swimming pool sessions before traveling?
No problem. Your local PADI Instructor will fill out an official student referral form and check which skills you’ve completed and the date. You can give this form to any PADI Instructor worldwide and pick up where you left off. • Please let us know in advance so we can schedule the necessary time needed. Additional charges may be added based completion.
Will I have time to practice before going into the ocean?
Yes. We will have you gear up and review scuba skills in a pool (or pool-like environment) before taking you to open water. Let the instructor know if you have any questions or aren’t feeling comfortable.
How long do I have to finish the course?
An open water referral is valid for up to 12 months, but it’s better to complete your training as soon as possible after taking the theory and confined water sessions (while your knowledge and skills are still fresh).

Do I need to be able to swim?
You do not need to be an Olympic swimmer to take a DSD; however, you should feel comfortable in the water and be able to maintain yourself at the surface.
Will I be in a pool or diving in the ocean?
The Discover Scuba Diving experience takes place in a swimming pool or in any body of water that has pool-like conditions. This means good visibility and calm conditions, so you can have the most comfortable experience possible. There is also an optional open water dive for those who want to take it. The open water dive is a great opportunity to see the local aquatic life!
How deep will I go underwater?
First of all, it’s important to know that you will not go any deeper than you feel comfortable with. The maximum depth for a Discover Scuba Diving experience is 6 meters (20 feet) for the initial pool session and 12 meters (40 feet) if you do the optional open water dive, but that does not mean you have to go that deep.
Who will teach my DSD?
Discover Scuba Diving experiences are conducted by PADI Instructors, if you are going to also do the optional open water dive,or qualified PADI Divemasters may conduct the experience if you are only completing pool dive. PADI Pros undergo rigorous training and exams to ensure that they can safely accompany and teach those who are new to diving. Check out the list of our instructors under the About tab on our website.

Dive Grenada is an absolutely fantastic dive shop and we had a terrific time, thank you. I was thinking about what makes you stand out from the crowd...Safety focussed. In all honesty I have never dived with a company that I felt unsafe, maybe I've been lucky. Briefings were excellent (Neal, Allie, Zhane).really thorough. Kit was excellent, I never want to use a weight belt again, integrated all the way... New boat is great as well, I became hooked on looking at the number in the bottom right of the screen to see how deep the water was.There were 2 sites we were really keen on. I mentioned that and we dived them both. Most dive shops are larger and a lot less accommodating but you listened and we dived them both. That is so much better than turning up and being told, its great to be heard, thats a huge plus. It doesn't happen all that often, difficult to keep everyone happy in larger groupsIt was a pleasure watching the team interact. You all gel together, its really clear that you all enjoy each other's company and that makes a huge difference to the ambience on the boat and before the dive. Its really great to see that, huge kudos for creating an environment like that.The diving - I have to admit that previously I preferred Indian Ocean but the diving in Grenada IS SUPERB. I'm no expert but the coral looks in such good condition, I have not seen so much soft coral in the Caribbean previously. And so many/such a variety of fish. Sometimes you see great coral, sometimes an abundance of fish, Grenada rates highly on both. Turtles, eagle ray, tarpon, barracuda, nurse shark etc etc. List goes on.... Throw the wrecks in and the option of heading round the corner (airport) into the heavier seas and there is a staggering amount of variety. I will be returning.Finally, you all talked to me and Tom about the "stuff" we'd seen on the dive and its always wonderful to learn new things. You don't need me to tell you - you are all exceedingly knowledgeable and happy to share that.I could not rate Dive Grenada more highly 👏👏👏Worth adding - Emma and Jess loved the snorkel trip.

Really great setup right on the beach at Grand Anse. Easy to book and communicate, super friendly team in the shop and our skipper and dive masters were amazing.Very enjoyable couple of dives, and felt totally at ease having not been in the water for a couple of years.

We had a fantastic experience with Dive Grenada. The team was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful from the moment we booked. Although my 80-year-old father-in-law was ultimately unable to dive due to a shoulder injury, the staff went out of their way during the planning process to reassure us that they would do everything possible to accommodate him and help him participate safely. Their willingness to adapt and their genuine concern for their guests really stood out. Excellent service, great diving, and a team that truly cares about its customers. Highly recommended.

I have been diving with Dive Grenada for 5 years, and I usually have new student-divers accompanying me when I dive with them. Dive Grenada is an *exceptional* dive shop for both experienced and new divers alike. Here are a few reasons:1. Impeccable safety standards. They are great at teaching safety best practices and implementing them themselves. I am 100% comfortable sending my brand-new-diver students to them to get trained.2. Outstanding attention to customer service: They are there to ensure you have a fun and successful dive. From getting gear onto the boat, to switching tanks over, to ensuring your gear is appropriate, to surface-interval snacks and beverages--they truly are there to ensure customers have a great and safe time.3. Personal attention: They take the time to get to know *you*. I love the "micro" part of the reefs, and I have noticed that they keep an extra eye out for the small things (nudibranchs, flatworms, etc) when I am on a dive with them, just for my sake. When they're with a group of timid students, they read the room and ensure that the students have what they need to build confidence.4. Excellent communication: You will get courteous and timely responses from them, and you will know exactly what to expect.5. Great company! They took wonderful care of my daughter and granddaughter. The guide swam them out to the shores of flamingo Beach personally from the boat. It was a great experience for them. They overcame the fear and really enjoyed it.

My family and I came to Grenada as a group in May 2026. Two of us were certified divers, but were looking for a refresher course and practice. Three of us were discovering diving - newbies. Dive Grenada was just the ticket. We all got what we needed, with all the encouraging, competent and professional support from Allie, the instructors, Billy the dive boat driver - everyone. It was an absolute pleasure to be in their good and safe hands. Five starts is not enough!!!

Just returned from another week with Dive Grenada and their hospitality and skill just keep getting better! Allie and Neal are, first of all, great dive masters and guides. We always know that with them we are safe, well prepared and going to have a great day. They are also, awesome, fun loving, friendly and warm and the sea creatures seem to know that too. I swear they are fish whisperers. On each dive we found something special, rare, or one of our favorites if we asked for help finding it. Zane, Rhion and Ethan are excellent guides and go above and beyond to make everyday special. At the shop you will be greeted with warm smiles and all the dive advice you could ever need. Once you are on the boat you will notice that you are not crowded and packed in, the dive groups are small and you get so much personal attention. And the whole trip is just a REALLY GOOD time. As always we highly recommend them. Book early bc they fill up. We already booked our next trip in 6 months!

Outstanding dive center! I did the 6-tank bundle (2 tanks per day x 3 days) with Dive Grenada and had a GREAT time. Dives are 5-10 min away, including Bianca C (aka, the Titanic of the Caribbean). Allie & Neal are the wonderful owners of this perfect dive center. They have a great attitude, with top notch / new equipment, perfect dive boat, and a very friendly, experienced staff. There's a good vibe throughout. Allie & Neal notice the “small details” and optimize! I was thoroughly impressed – and appreciative. I strongly recommend that you choose Dive Grenada for all of your diving needs while on the Spice Island!

I could not recommend Dive Grenada any higher!!! Allie and Neil, the owners, are fantastic - as are Ethan, Zane, and Reon - I dove with nearly all of them while I was there. Allie conducted my certification training and was so patient and diligent with my friend and I. The price was excellent - for what is an expensive sport. I dove a total of 7 times with them over the course of 12 days that I was in Grenada. The first 4 dives were training dives with Allie and the rest were purely for fun. The atmosphere in the shop is so inviting that I feel like I've made some friends for life in terms of both the staff and other divers. I can't imagine I'll ever find another dive shop that I love as much as this one, so I will definitely be back.

The experience from the check in at the shop to boarding their luxurious dive boat sets you up for a fabulous time diving the geourgous reefs of Grenada. The owners are 100% hands on and have surrounded themselves with staff who are superb at their jobs. Billy and Zane are masters at maneuvers to keep the boat in position for easy entry and exit of the water. Dive masters Ethan, Zane, Reon, Allie and Neal have you in mind on every single dive, showing you all the sites have to offer. Safe, Fun, and Exciting every time. Simply great we had a nice time! We were a small group doing one tank scuba dive with padi refresher and snorkling on the same boat trip. Everything was remarkable smooth organized from welcome over equipment preparation to trip itself.We were greeted with great open heardef attitude and passion for the sea that everyone in the team seems to share.Neal, our dive instructor, did an awesome job. As we were still beginner divers he was so patient and on the other hand found a nice balance between explanation and just making it fun. We can absolutely recommend and will come back when we visit Grenada again.

My dive buddy and I enjoyed 8 days of diving with Dive Grenada. They are a great dive shop. The staff was friendly and efficient. I very much appreciate all the little things that they did to help us, including: measuring our Nitrox tanks while we observed, taking our gear out to the boat each day, helping us on and off the boat for each of our dives, and taking our gear off the boat at the end of each dive day. The boat was comfortable and the dive groups were smaller. The dive masters gave thorough briefings and did a good job of keeping track of everyone during the dive. The dive sites were very nice; there were so many fish!

The dive masters were very professional, had amazing energy, and made sure everyone was safe and had a great experience. Highly recommend! Have to mention the one star review they got… The cancellation policy is clearly stated as 7 days notice. I had 2 divers with me who got sick and were unable to make it, those seats couldn’t be filled last minute. Makes sense. They were gracious enough to let me join on an afternoon dive to recoup at least some of what the other divers missed out on!

I was very satisfied. I may come back next year. There were two things that could have been better. Weight was lighter and so I had issues of drifting up. Another issue was a leaky goggle. I did bring my goggle that I didn’t use. I checked it later and found out it was working perfectly. My mistake.

Easy and friendly check in process. Our guides were professional and personable, helping everyone relax and enjoy. Two-spot snorkel trip - we loved Flamingo Bay. The fan coral was beautiful. Great spot. Underwater Sculpture garden was interesting but I would say it's a lot of time in the water and likely better if diving due to depth. We had sunshine which made it much easier to see the sculptures. Enjoyed our experience with Dive Grenada!

Awesome dive operator !! We stayed at Mt Cinnamon next door and I spoke with Allie who happily got me on a morning 2 tank with all equipment provided. This is a TOP NOTCH dive operation which only takes a few people on each trip to personalize the experience. 4 of us had 2 dive masters with us, showing us everything undersea to be found. The dives were great and you are done before noon and avoid the cruise shippers. Win / Win !! oh and the price is about 1/2 what you will pay in Aruba or Bahamas. I will be back !! Paul

Dive Grenada was THE BEST operation I've been to. I joined a dive in the last 30 minutes before they left, and they had everything ready for me. BCD was fully equipped and set up to the tanks and regulators. The dive masters were incredible with their energy, professionalism, vibes, and caring action. I had a hard time getting down on the first dive and 1 dive master came over and calmed me down, and held my arm and helped to relax me while we got down. No rushing, no panic, no judgement, only support and good vibes. The ease of diving with this crew was the best I've ever experienced. Diving with them left me happier than I have been in a couple years.

Dive Grenada exceeded our expectations. We had a great experience with Dive Grenada. This a top notch team from the moment you arrive to cleaning up gear when done. DM Zane makes sure you see something cool every dive. He’s attentive to all divers and makes sure you have a safe and fun time. Neal and Allie are also excellent trainers for PADI certifications. Awesome, great, the best. Those are the words that come to mind when describing my experience at Dive Grenada. This was my first time diving and I decided on Dive Grenada for a PADI Open Water Diver course. From my first contact with Allie I was not disappointed with the level of service and professionalism that was demonstrated. When I arrived at the dive shop I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The environment that Neal and Allie create is both safe and relaxed. I was fortunate to have Allie conduct my pool skills and then Neal was my instructor for the four open water dives. They were both patient and knowledgeable, explaining everything clearly and making sure I felt comfortable at every step. Their focus on safety and proper technique gave me real confidence. I had an incredible experience diving with Dive Grenada! From start to finish, the team made everything smooth, safe, and truly enjoyable. A special shout-out to Allie, who was exceptionally kind, patient, and organized. She set the tone with her warm welcome and made the entire process feel effortless. This was my first dive after qualifying. I could not have had a better experience. The entire staff was super friendly. They did everything for me to include fitting my BCD, making sure I had the right amount of weight, and they even gave me some pointers on bouyancy, which I struggled with during my qualifying. The dive itself was fantastic! The dive master was very thorough and professional. During the dive he would point out interesting sea life like octopus, rock fish and a few lion fish. When I come back to Grenada I will definitely use this dive shop again.

I successfully completed my Open Water Diver certification here and I couldn't recommend Dive Grenada enough. The whole team (Neal, Allie, Ethan, Zhane, Reon, Jude and Captain Billy) were extremely professional and lovely, and I was really well looked after. The team's love for diving was clear for all to see, as evidenced by the fact that I met several returnee divers here. Special shout out to Neal who was my teacher; he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, thorough and enthusiastic. Highlights for me from the week were: successfully getting over the mental block to confidently perform a full mask flood and clear, diving the Veronica L wreck, and seeing two turtles and a massive eagle ray! An amazing experience from start to finish. Very easy to get in contact with Allie and Neal early on and get everything booked in, so we could then concentrate on the flight and hotel planning.Once in Grenada, the team made everything effortless. Plenty of gear storage, impressive knowledge of the local area and the dive sites, even some restaurant and shopping suggestions which helped a lot.Our kit ready was ready everyday (11 days of diving in total) before we arrived, and often already on the boat so it was just a case of checking everything over ourselves before heading off for the dives. The crew and guides are all very experienced and great to spend time with, lots of laughs and jokes, and happy to help out and answer any questions pre dive briefings. The boat was never overcrowded, they keep the groups intentionally smaller so that it avoids chaos when it's time to gear-up or swap tanks.The diving itself is stunning with so many unspoilt sites. We saw stingrays, spotted eagle rays, devil rays, octopuses a shark or two and the reefs have an abundance of fish life. The Bianca C wreck was a highlight, an immense wreck which really needs more than one dive to explore properly. A night dive is worth doing too, active sea life all over the wreck we spent it on, and some very unusual fish, even one that's rarely seen even at night, which I can't remember the name of but Allie will!If you're lucky, and Zane has a successful hunt(!), a post-dive lionfish BBQ might be on the cards - if you haven't tried it and get the chance, it's very tasty.We'll definitely be back, not a short trip from the UK, but one well worth making for the diving, and the people. The island itself has plenty to explore in your dive down-time, and the food (and rum!) is all worth trying.

We’ve been Diving with Dive Grenada for years and they only get better and better! We are repeat customers because Neil and Allie are fantastic. They feel like family and treat you like family. I’m a reasonably experienced diver, though still only a couple of trips a year. On this trip I dived with similar divers, massively more experienced divers, and divers who had not dived in a long time. Dive Grenada handled all these divers really well and ensured everyone was within their capabilities. It’s a full-service dive centre and the boat is away shortly after 8am. It’s a little early in my book, but you are back well before lunch which is very nice. Nitrox was popular when I went. My last dive was an awesome night dive that was led better than any other night dive I’ve been on.

USE THIS DIVE SHOP! I have used about 10 dive shops around the Caribbean over the years, and Dive Grenada is truly one of the best. Neal and Allie provide phenomenal customer service with a personalized touch. They use small boats so you get lots of attention, and they go out of their way tailor to your preferences. Everyone is having fun and laughing. At the same time, there is a very strong focus on safety. They have high quality equipment in excellent condition.
